My first Buiding ( Bridge )

Ha! How about seeking inspiration from the first ever building i drew and on the way to be seen in the Brindabella Business Park in Canberra Airport? The steel work is up and tomorrow they are pouring the bondek slab. I am going on site tomorrow to see IT. Getting really excited because if i could stand next to the steel beam, it would be more than half my height measuring 800mm deep spanding across two existing building. Will post picture once i get them!

IKEA

Have i mentioned that i LOVE everything IKEA. But after reading this article, i think i will think twice about stepping into any outlet next time. How do u deal with the irony that he is so smart yet so dodgy?

IKEA
Flat-pack accounting
May 11th 2006

From The Economist print edition

Forget about the Gates Foundation. The world's biggest charity owns IKEA—and is
devoted to interior design FEW tasks are more exasperating than trying to assemble flat-pack furniture from IKEA. But even that is simple compared with piecing together the accounts of the world's largest homefurnishing retailer. Much has been written about IKEA's remarkably effective retail formula. The Economist has investigated the group's no less astonishing finances.
What emerges is an outfit that ingeniously exploits the quirks of different jurisdictions to create
a charity, dedicated to a somewhat banal cause, that is not only the world's richest foundation,
but is at the moment also one of its least generous. The overall set-up of IKEA minimises tax
and disclosure, handsomely rewards the founding Kamprad family and makes IKEA immune to
a takeover. And if that seems too good to be true, it is: these arrangements are extremely
hard to undo. The benefits from all this ingenuity come at the price of a huge constraint on the
successors to Ingvar Kamprad, the store's founder (pictured above), to do with IKEA as they
see fit.

Although IKEA is one of Sweden's best-known exports, it has not in a strict legal sense been
Swedish since the early 1980s. The store has made its name by supplying Scandinavian
designs at Asian prices. Unusually among retailers, it has managed its international expansion
without stumbling. Indeed, its brand—which stands for clean, green and attractive design and
value for money—is as potent today as it has been at any time in more than 50 years in
business.

The parent for all IKEA companies—the operator of 207 of the 235 worldwide IKEA stores—is
Ingka Holding, a private Dutch-registered company. Ingka Holding, in turn, belongs entirely to
Stichting Ingka Foundation. This is a Dutch-registered, tax-exempt, non-profit-making legal
entity, which was given the shares of Mr Kamprad in 1982. Stichtingen, or foundations, are the
most common form of not-for-profit organisation in the Netherlands; tens of thousands of
them are registered.

Most Dutch stichtingen are tiny, but if Stichting Ingka Foundation were listed it would be one of
the Netherlands' ten largest companies by market value. Its main asset is the Ingka Holding
group, which is conservatively financed and highly profitable: post-tax profits were €1.4 billion
($1.7 billion)—an impressive margin of nearly 11% on sales of €12.8 billion—in the year to
August 31st 2004, the latest year for which the group has filed accounts.
Valuing the Inkga Holding group is awkward, because IKEA has no direct competitors that
operate globally. Shares in Target, a large, successful chain of stores in the United States that
makes a fifth of its sales from home furnishings, are priced at 20 times the store's latest fullyear
earnings. Using that price/earnings ratio, the Ingka Holding group is worth €28 billion
($36 billion).

This is probably conservative, given IKEA's growth prospects. Sales—the only financial
information that IKEA releases—for the year to August 31st 2005 were €14.8 billion, 15.6% up
on a year earlier. And there is plenty of scope for more stores. Ingka Holding has only 26
outlets in America. By contrast, in Europe, a market of comparable size, it has over 160,
accounting for more than 80% of its total turnover. In April IKEA opened its first store in
Japan.

If Stichting Ingka Foundation has net worth of at least $36 billion it would be the world's
wealthiest charity. Its value easily exceeds the $26.9 billion shown in the latest published
accounts of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, which is commonly awarded that accolade.
Measured by good works, however, the Gates Foundation wins hands down. It devotes most of
its resources to curing the diseases of the world's poor. By contrast the Kamprad billions are
dedicated to “innovation in the field of architectural and interior design”. The articles of
association of Stichting Ingka Foundation, a public record in the Netherlands, state that this
object cannot be amended. Even a Dutch court can make only minor changes to the stichting's
aims.

The Kamprad foundations compare poorly with the Gates Foundation
in other ways, too. The American charity operates transparently,
publishing, for instance, details of every grant it makes. But Dutch
foundations are very loosely regulated and are subject to little or no
third-party oversight. They are not, for instance, legally obliged to
publish their accounts.

Under its articles, Stichting Ingka Foundation channels its funds to
Stichting IKEA Foundation, another Dutch-registered foundation with
identical aims, and which actually doles out money for worthy interior-design ideas. But the
second foundation does not publish any information either. So just how—or whether—Stichting
Ingka Foundation has spent the €1.6 billion that it collected in dividends from Ingka Holding in
1998-2003 remains hidden from view.

IKEA says only that this money is used for charitable purposes and “for investing long-term in
order to build a reserve for securing the IKEA group, in case of any future capital
requirements.” IKEA adds that in the past two years donations have been concentrated on the
Lund Institute of Technology in Sweden. The Lund Institute says it has recently received
SKr12.5m ($1.7m) a year from Stichting Ikea (which also gave the institute a lump sum of
SKr55m in the late 1990s). That is barely a rounding error in the foundation's assets. Clearly,
the world of interior design is being tragically deprived, as the foundation devotes itself to
building its own reserves in case IKEA needs capital.

Although Mr Kamprad has given up ownership of IKEA, the stichting means that his control
over the group is absolutely secure. A five-person executive committee, chaired by Mr
Kamprad, runs the foundation. This committee appoints the boards of Ingka Holding, approves
any changes to the company's statutes, and has pre-emption rights on new share issues.
Mr Kamprad's wife and a Swiss lawyer have also been members of this committee, which takes
most of its decisions by simple majority, since the foundation was set up. When one member
of the committee quits or dies, the remaining four appoint his replacement. In other words, Mr
Kamprad is able to exercise control of Ingka Holding as if he were still its owner. In theory,
nothing can happen at IKEA without the committee's agreement.

That control is so tight that not even Mr Kamprad's heirs can loosen it after his death. The
foundation's objects require it to “obtain and manage” shares in the Ingka Holding group.
Other clauses of its articles require the foundation to manage its shareholding in a way to
ensure “the continuity and growth” of the IKEA group. The shares can be sold only to another
foundation with the same objects and executive committee, and the foundation can be
dissolved only through insolvency.

Yet, though control over IKEA is locked up, the money is not. Mr Kamprad left a trapdoor for
getting funds out of the business, even if its ownership and control cannot change. The IKEA
trademark and concept is owned by Inter IKEA Systems, another private Dutch company, but
not part of the Ingka Holding group. Its parent company is Inter IKEA Holding, registered in
Luxembourg. This, in turn, belongs to an identically named company in the Netherlands
Antilles, run by a trust company in CuraƧao. Although the beneficial owners remain hidden
from view—IKEA refuses to identify them—they are almost certain to be members of the
Kamprad family.
Inter IKEA earns its money from the franchise agreements it has with
each IKEA store. These are extremely lucrative: IKEA says that all
franchisees pay 3% of sales. The Ingka Holding group, the company
owned by the Kamprad foundation, is the biggest franchisee, with its
207 stores; other franchisees run the remaining 28 stores, which are
mainly in the Middle East and Asia.

How much money does Inter IKEA Systems make? Its results are
included in its parent company's accounts filed in Luxembourg. These
show that in 2004 the Inter IKEA group collected €631m in franchise
fees and made pre-tax profits of €225m. This profit is after deducting
€590m of “other operating charges”.

Although IKEA would not explain these charges, because its policy is not to comment on the
accounts of a private group of companies, Inter IKEA appears to make large payments to I.I.
Holding, another Luxembourg-registered group that is almost certain to be controlled by the
Kamprad family and which made a profit of €328m in 2004.

Together these companies had nearly €11.9 billion in cash and securities at the end of 2004,
even after I.I. Holding paid out a dividend of nearly €800m during the year. Most of this money has undoubtedly come from the collection of franchise fees. In total, these two groups suffered
tax bills of a mere €19m in 2004 on their combined profits of €553m. Clearly, the Kamprad
family pays the same meticulous attention to tax avoidance as IKEA does to low prices in its
stores.

The IKEA financial system of stichtingen and holding companies is extremely efficient. Even so,
next time you wonder how anyone could have come up with the fiendish plans for a Hensvik
storage unit or a Bjursta sideboard, spare a thought for the Kamprads' accountants.

SHIT Inspired List

Apparently this is not new, but i have only read this today, all because i am inspired by a REAL floating shit in the office female toilet today.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ghost Shit
You know you've shit. There's shit on the toilet paper, but no shit in the bowl.

Teflon Coated Shit
Comes out so slick, clean and easy that you don't feel it. No traces of shit on the toilet paper, you have to look in the bowl to be sure you did it!

Gooey Shit
This has the consistency of hot tar. You wipe your ass 12 times and it still doesn't come clean. You end up putting toilet paper in your underwear so you don't stain it. This shit leaves permanent skid marks in the toilet.

Second Thought Shit
You're all done wiping your ass and you're about to stand up when you realize it.....you've got some more.

Pop a Vein in Your Forehead Shit
This kind is the kind of shit that killed Elvis. It doesn't come until you're all sweaty, trembling and purple from straining so hard.

Bali Belly Shit
You shit so much you lose 5 kilos.

Right Now Shit
You better be within 10 seconds of a toilet. Usually it has its head out before you get your pants down.

King Kong or Commode Choker Shit
This shit is so big that you know it won't go down the toilet unless you break it into smaller chunks. A coat hanger works well. This kind of shit usually happens at someone else's house.

Wet Cheeks Shit
This shit hits the water sideways and makes a BIG splash that gets your ass wet.

Wish Shit
You sit there all cramped up and fart a few times, but no shit!

Cement Block or Oh God Shit
You wish you'd gotten a spinal block before you shit.

Snake Shit
This shit is fairly soft and about as big around as your thumb and at least three feet long.

Cork Shit (Also Known as Floater Shit)
Even after the third flush, it's still floating in there. My god! How do I get rid of it? This shit usually happens at someone else's house.

Mexican Food Shit (also called Screamers)
You'll know it's alright to eat again when your asshole stops burning.

Beer Drunk Shit
This happens the day after the night before. Normally your shit doesn't smell too bad, but this shit is BAD. Usually there's somebody standing outside to use the bathroom. This kind of shit also usually happens at someone else's house.

The Frightened Turtle
The kind of shit that just pokes its head out then quickly goes back in

The Bungee Shit
The kind of shit that just hangs off your ass before it falls into the water.

The Ring of Fire Shit
The kind of shit where you eat really spicy food and your asshole feels like the inside of a cigarette lighter.

The Crippler
The kind of shit where you have to sit on the toilet so long your legs go numb from the waist down.

The Big Bobber
The kind of shit that no matter how many times you flush it always floats back to the surface.

The Shitty Shitty Bang Bang
The kind of shit that hits you when you're trapped in your car in a traffic jam.

The Incredible Hulk Shit
The king of shit that sits in the toilet overnight and mysteriously expands to twice it's normal size.

The Jack the Ripper Shit
The kind of shit that yanks out the hair of your ass as it pushes its way out.

The Party Pooper
The giant shit you take at a party. And when you flush the toilet, you watch in horror as the water starts to rise.

The Toxic Gas Shit
The kind of shit that makes you pass out and fall of the toilet before you finish, and then you wake up in some strange South American town.

Dirty Bowl Shit
The kind of shit that comes out in a million pieces a second, reminiscent of an avalanche - but with rocket propulsion, and splatters all over the toilet bowl.

The Windy City Shit
When you sit down, and fart for so long and hard that you no longer need to take a shit.

Oh Shit! Shit
You shit so much and wipe your ass so furiously you run out of toilet paper and you say OH SHIT!

The Never Ending Shit
It's the shit that keeps running out of your ass like pea, and just when you start wiping your ass your stomach gargles and splash, more shit runs out. This always happens after eating at Kentucky Fried Chicken.

Ouch That Hurt Shit
The type of shit that leaves you feeling like you just hoped onto a bicycle without a seat. Sensation usually lasts hours.

Inspired Today

Off late, i have been reading up a lot of other people's blog, especially design related, fashion related, blogs with lots of nice graphics, blogs by crafty people, blogs of people who are getting married. Oh, did i tell you that i will be getting married? Yes, the date has been set to 30th September 2006. Lots of days has been spent in front of the computer researching on the dress i want, the theme, the colour of flowers, deco, caterers, marquee hire, celebrant, the list just goes on and on and on. But, the consequences of all these surfing is that i feel the itch to write, to draw, to design , to create, to be imaginative, i am inspired!

I have a feeling that i am at a cross road where i am about to make a very important decision which will change the direction of my life. Maybe i am just day dreaming. But one thing for sure, i want that to happen. My job is rather boring. Sad to say Architecture doesn't inspire me anymore. I don't like to face those engineers. I don't like to deal with plasterboard, door schedule, AutoCad or any other CAD related software. I want to get out of here. The time has come for me to let go. And i think i am ready to let go of all that i have worked hard for the past 8 years.

Where should i go? I have no idea. But, keep the dream alive and it shall come true.

The Accord Euro

Hep B

I have been very touched with friends who are concern about my current health situation after reading my blog. And i promised that i will post some info about Hep B to help answer some questions.

Hep B in short is a virus that attacks the liver which will cause the liver to become inflamed
There are two types of Hep B infection : Acute & Chronic
Acute Hep B infection affects a person temporarily. The virus will go away with rest and no treatment is needed while chronic carrier like me will carry the virus my whole life.
Long term HBV carriers may suffer chronic hepatitis which may predispose to cirrhosis, liver failure and cancer of the liver.

Hep B can be transmitted through body fluids including blood, saliva, semen, mucus, vaginal fluid and breast milk. ( Girls.. u better stop eating food from my plate ! ) It can be easily transmitted through sexual activity, sharing injecting equipment, sharing toothbrushes or razors and from mother to child at birth ( which i think that's how i got mine )

Now.... i have been having regular check up ever since i found that i am a carrier.About half a year ago, my doctor told me that my ALT reading is out of the norm which means that my liver could be inflammed. Another blood test showed the same result and hence i was refered to a gastroenterologist who ordered me to have a liver biopsy just to be sure that the liver is not too inflamed. The result came back alright. There is a little bit of scarring in my liver at the scale of 1 of 4. But the gastro. advised that i should consider taking medication ie Interferon which i have to take daily for XX number of years depending on how my virus respond to the treatment. There is no certainty how good or how bad the respond will be. How good being there is a possibility that the virus will go away. On the contrary, at the other extreme, the virus might mutate. Since the medication is an Anti-viral , i should not fall pregnant......... that's a lot to take in for a 28 year old unmarried YOUNG lady.

Anyway, the good news is.. after some hard work of dieting, my recent blood test showed that my ALT was back to normal! I still have no idea what caused the ALT level to rise, could be some food that i eat or a certain lifestyle? The most puzzling thing is my family doctor actually say i don't need treatment so early. Who do u believe? Well, i plan to stay on my diet till i see my Gastro. next month.

I guess its a blessing in disguise, without this ALT panic, i would not have gone for the biopsy and would not have known that there is already scarring in my liver.

Its time to pay a little bit more attention to LIFE.

Hepatitis B vaccine and cure may be just around the corner

Hepatitis B vaccine and cure may be just around the corner
Danielle Cronin
Thursday, 23 February 2006
The Canberra Times

Hepatitis B vaccine and cure may be just around the cornerDanielle CroninThursday, 23 February 2006 A vaccine developed in Canberra could hopefully cure people with the potentially deadly infection hepatitis B, specialist Professor Nikolai Petrovsky said yesterday.
In a reported world first, Canberra company Vaxine is testing the vaccine developed by Professor Petrovsky and Dr Peter Cooper, of the Australian National University's John Curtin School of Medical Research.
"We've got two ambitions," Professor Petrovsky said.
"The first is to use it in the traditional sense of the vaccine, which is to take people who haven't been exposed to the virus and protect them against the virus, so we're very confident that we will achieve that.
"The ambitious part of the project is we believe that there's a good chance we may be actually able to treat people who are already infected with the virus and use the vaccine to basically help the immune system to eradicate the virus."
Professor Petrovsky worked on the compound when he was a specialist at Canberra Hospital.
Hepatitis B is one of the world's most common liver infections, affecting about 30 per cent of the population, or 2billion people, at some time.
About 350 million people are chronic carriers and one million people die each year from liver failure caused by hepatitis B.
The virus can be spread through contact with the blood of an infected person, from mother to child at birth, during unsafe sex, sharing needles, and unsterilised tatooing or piercing equipment.
Professor Petrovsky said most people fought off the infection, but in about one in three cases the virus lodged in the liver, causing serious damage that could lead to failure. There were drugs to slow down the process, but no cure.
The vaccine combined a protein from the virus and a special agent taken from the natural sugar found in dahlia flowers.
"It is designed to encourage the immune system to attack and destroy the hepatitis infection more effectively. It may ultimately lead to the world's first cure for chronic hepatitis B infection," he said. "Although still early days, this new vaccine should be of major benefit to people who respond poorly to current hepatitis B vaccines, including people with immuno-deficiency, diabetes, elderly people and people with kidney disease.
"We may actually be able to treat people who have the virus and cure them of the virus. If we do that, that's going to be pretty revolutionary."
It would take a few months to complete the first phase involving testing the safety and efficacy of the vaccine on about 24 people who were not infected.
Professor Petrovsky said the next stage would be "very exciting" when people with hepatitis B were given the vaccine.
Vaxine chief executive Ted Stapinski said the vaccine could be a financial boon. If the test results were positive, the company would forge a partnership with a pharmaceutical company to market the vaccine and list on the stock exchange. Professor Petrovsky helped set up Vaxine, a Canberra company focused on developing vaccines for infectious diseases.
The United States' National Institute of Health recently gave a grant - worth more than $3 million - to Vaxine and Flinders University to develop vaccines to protect against bioterrorist attacks.

Friendship

This week has been a very depressing week for me. I have not been able to concentrate on my work...as a matter of fact.. everything i do.. my heart hasn't been with me i think...

Two of my best friends got married this week. Mien got ROM in Singapore on V-day and PL got married on the 16th Feb.

For the whole week.. i tried searching on zuji for the cheapest ticket to fly home so that i can make it to the dinner tomorrow night.. i tried thinking about the leave or sick leave i could take to attend the wedding... i tried imagining everyone getting excited and happy with the occasions.. i tried to think about ways i could get malcolm to come with me...i think and think during work.. when i am cooking... when i am taking shower.... and yet.. i did nothing.... i wonder why?

I often think i am the kind of person who is willing to do anything for my friends... esp the six of us... i mean... the wedding is once in a life time... i have savings.. well.. i don't really have a lot of time....but i didn't do anything....i wonder what has changed?

Yesterday... i can really feel the bond there... mom called me early in the morning while i was at work.. saying that she attended the pre-wedding party.. bird's parents were there.. everyone was there.. then at about 11.30am hooi called... say PL was in the midst of the tea ceremony... everyone talked to me briefly on the phone eventhough i could not hear them very well because of the poor reception in the office.. i was feeling so happy yet so sad...i was not part of it..

You know.. i think the six of us are going to be the closest best friend ever one could ever find... we went through happiness and sadness, sickness and health... and we are getting stronger every day or year...when one of us is in trouble... there is no doubt that everyone would help.. in a different way...

I think the best of it is that each and everyone of us bond with each other in a unique way... its like having five sisters...

I can imagine all of us grow up and grow old together till death do us apart......

To Mien... i am very happy that you found the one u love... but i will forever be worried about u because u will be so far away in a foreign place... May you and Roger have a long lasting & loving marriage.

To PL...i know u r a strong girl..but i will still worry about you... life long partnership needs to be cultivated with patience & compromisation....Wish you and Hume a happy & loving life together.. forever...

Thank YOU

Love the Red Roses that you sent

Overwhelmed with warmth by your act of love

Very happy because we made it through another year

Eventhough life lately has brought us much tear

You are the sunshine after the rain

Of which i will cherish

Chinese New Year @ the Farm

While everyone spent Chinese New Year with their relatives and friends.. we had the most relaxing time at the farm. U got to envy us after looking at the photos...

Top of Australia - Mt Kosciuszko

Yes!... We conquered the highest peak of Australia on Australia Day!
At the Peak , 2228 above sea level.
That's Keith & me with the magnificient background of the Kosciuszko National Park. It was quite chilly at the top despite the scotching hot temperature of 38 degree ceicius at the foot of the mountain

From the pictures... it may not seem hard to walk up the slope... but i almost could not make it to the top!
The surrouding landscape seemed like the place where Lord of The Ring was filmed.

My first Hospital Experience as A Patient

Liver Biopsy

It was one of the most painful experience of my life. (The last one , as Malcolm reminded me was the time when he tried to take out the wart on my toe.)

Although without this experience. I never realise that i have a "walking clown" beside me. He never ceased to joke about every single thing in life. Perhaps i am too used to him making stupid jokes all the time that i ignore him. But for the past few days , he couldn't be ignored.
Whenever he attempted to joke, i will be holding my wound and try not to laugh. They were bittersweet moments.

The needle was huge! Maybe about 2 to 3mm in diameter?? The local anaesthesia injection was a wake up call... hello... its time to feel pain alright...But when the big needle struck the liver... it was like .. all my internal organs got shifted around... i could only afford a whisper:"pain", "pain"....

Everything was over within a few minutes and while i was wheeled out of the ultrasound room, all i know was that every single breath i heaved out sent a painful sensation to my nerves. I could not afford not to breath , could i?

Lying on my right side concentrating on my breathing seemed like forever. Malcolm existence beside my bed certainly didn't help much when he was constantly joking about the doctor who did the operation or the nurses who were running around the ward.

Later on , i was convinced to take pain killers as i was told that the pain will get worse and it take a while for the drug to take effect. It did made me feel "good" ( drowsy and high ) for sometime but to suffer the side effects of a bloated stomach for a few days due to my sensitive digestion system to drugs.

Anyway, its all over now. I was confined to the sofa and bed for two days and i can't wait to become a normal human being again.

Carey's Cave - Wee Jasper

I think the highlight of this trip isn't so much of the Cave but the journey there. Malcolm found this shortcut from the internet to Wee Jasper which took us 15 minutes shorter time compared to the main highway. The most interesting thing about this shortcut was the fact its actually a road behind the city which took us right to no man land. That's the wonder of Canberra i thought. Out of no where , u found yourself in a place with no human , no car, no nothing but beautiful sceneries of mountains and flat lands. Just magnificient.

There was this stretch of farm land with very nice english type
houses along the road which made me wonder why do these people choose to live here?

And there was this stretch where there were so many "insects" flying around. With our car travelling at 100km/h, the insects hit on our windscreen like SPLAT, SPLAT, SPLAT, SPLAT, SPLAT, SPLAT, SPLAT, SPLAT, SPLAT... endless SPLATING to a point i feel pity for the insects. They were pretty, yellow little thingy like
butterflies.

There was also this stretch of really hilly road going round and round up the mountain to discover many beautiful sights of this amazing country at the next turning. Seemed like we were in the Rocky Mountain with Euclyptas trees.

The town of Wee Jasper is so cute. The entrance to the town was right at the valley of a mountain. There was nothing really, no
houses or at least i didn't see one. All we saw was a convenien
store and a school.

We quickly proceeded to the entrance of the cave as were thought we were running late only to find that the gate was closed! What the! A minute later, there was a car behind us and this girl got out to open the gate. How strange... this cave is only manged by a old man, the tour guide and his daugther.

The old bloke was a good story teller though. Really enjoyed the
2 hours lecture on the science of stalactites and stalagmites formations.

We took another route back through Yass. Finally had the chance
to see the town as we always just by pass it on the way to Melbourne.
I don't think i will ever get bored with visiting all these cute cute towns with no people yet have a huge Coles or Wollys supermarket.

Go... our Coles and Safeway visits adventure since 2002!

Detox Programme - Day 07

Finally. It ended.

Been a extraordinary 7 days.

I don't feel extraordinary well.
I might still continue with the coffee enema because its actually quite fun to do it. its like one of the times when i can actually feel relax and not think about other problems in life.

Definitely looking forward to eating some food again... without much sugar, salt or oil....

The end of Dr Lynn Tan's DRP means the begining of Dr Cabot LCD.

I think the LCD will be much easier to follow than the DRP. Looking forward to cooking some Liver Cleasing Food.

i am rather amazed with all these effort that i am putting into all these liver diet , supplements etc etc....i really hope it will work wonders to my liver and i hope the biopsy on monday will tell me miracles because i don't want to take any medication to harm my body.

I know i have been brain washed with all these natural / alternative medication that i could take instead of drugs. Besides, the doc said that these drugs pose a danger of the virus mutating hence become tolerant of Lamivudine.. really there is no end to this on top of the risk of cirhosis or fibrosis or whatever crap of liver cancer bla bla bla 10 to 20 years down the road.
Thinking of all the hard work i have to put in... i wonder whether everything will be worth all that i am doing...

i know you are reading...
sincerely... i hope this will work out to show to your family that alternative medicine is the hope for cancer.

Detox Programme - Day 06

I have sinned today!... just before lunch time.. with my stomach grumbling with hunger... i was thinking of good food. Can't really remember what i thought of eating.. KFC..pasta.. pancakes...muffins... everything that my hungry mind can think of.

Mind is always stronger than the body... i have managed to prevent myself from ruining my DRP. I forced feed myself with my steamed patato, one stalk of raw celery and lettuces for the 6th day. This may sound bad, but its actually not too bad..all for the sake of my good health..

Coffee enema was all good today. Managed to hold for the full 15 mins in the morning and night. Although just now i tried doing water enema prior to the coffee enema to flush out whatever that's in my big and small colon. But still when expeling the coffee... there are still more to be expelled.. .... i wonder ... i hardly eat now.. how come there are so many faeces that could be expel and why i don't expel as much as i do now eventhough i used to eat more?
i am starting to enjoy the coffee enema now. i get to chill out by playing games and there is hardly any holding up to do now that its easier to keep the coffee enema. I feel really good too after flushing out everything.

Don't really want to repeat again what i ate for dinner tonight. But hey... look at the bright side... one more day to go... and i am really looking forward to Sunday since LK is bringing me " somewhere" Been such a long time since we last went out for a serious pak toh day.

Detox Programme - Day 05

Haa... my breakthrough came!

I had the best coffee enema session this morning. As usual, i could barely tahan through 8 mins and it was excruciating pain at my lower stomach. It was so hard to take it that i had to stumble for the toilet bowl to expel out the coffee. But the expelation was so fast and hard that i felt like i flushed out all the "toxic" in my body. I felt good after that.

I also experienced more severe healing reactions that i felt nauseas and dizziness on top of the weaker body. I expected that to happen because i had such a good coffee enema session. As they call it - the body is trying to get rid of the "bad stuff". But those symptoms didn't last long.

As expected also, the evening coffee enema session was too good to be true. I managed to tahan for 15 mins as required without much discomfort. i cruised through it while playing games on my phone. I think i got addicted to it already.

As for the food...mmm still have desire for "good" food. But hey, the corn i ate just now tasted like heaven!

two more days to go..

jia you....

Detox Programme - Day 04

This morning coffee enema was harder to tahan... could not remember how long but was very short.. Improved a little with the evening session but still not long enough. Might consider adding cider vinegar and K-salt tomorrow morning.

I had a little bit of diarheoa today. Is that part of the healing effects? My throat still feels rather weird with the ' pain'.

Getting a lot of stomach gas from eating too much green too. I wonder how much this DRP is going to help me after 7 days?

Detox Programme - Day 03

well.....

Coffee Enema today seem to be even less efective.
I kinda stuff up the morning session by having too little water.
The evening session was back to normal water level but i didn't hear so many splurting as the first and second day.
And before i even finished the 10th minute, i have to go to toilet already.

I got bored with eating the same salad everyday , so i tried steam vege today. not too bad. something different at least.
Saltless diet is making my taste bud taste having a brand new life .. i think.

My throat seem a bit sore today but still not too bad.

But i feel even weaker today. I wonder if its the DRP working or its because there is no meat?

Detox Programme - Day 02

Alright, the symtops i feel after two days of Dr Lynn Tan's DRP ( Detox and Rejuvenation Program ) program, i have a slight pain at the top of my head, a bit like a short and fast spasm. My abdomen also feel a bit of discomfort like PMS pain. I thought i was going to menstruate. I will be very happy if i do, that means the programme is working.

The coffee enema don't seem to be working very well... didn't feel as good after it as compared to the first day. There is still a lot of coffee left in my tube after "all" been drained into me, so i thought my body could not take so much, so i tried using less water. The interesting thing is that after " all" coffee been drained inside me, i realise that for about once every two minutes, there will be a " splurt" sound from my organ(s), i read that its actually the opening of the gallbladder trying to emit out toxic. I am also able to " tahan" for about 13 minuts today before letting all out. Go ... coffee enema.

The food has been... more tolerable today. although i feel weak and unsatisfied not eating any sort of meat product. Surprising , i actually find sweetness within the salad i eat. The steam patato actually tasted so good!!

Malcolm said:" LP, i have to tell u the truth, when i was having lunch today, i actually thought of eating KFC."

Yes, i actually put him on a semi DRP, letting him eat the food i eat. I think i might start him on the Dr. Cabot Liver Cleansing Diet after i finish this DRP.
